The Waterfront Film Festival is a non-profit event, and we depend on our volunteers each year to make it a success. We need more great volunteers like you so that we have more hands available to help promote and coordinate various aspects of the event on a year round basis, as well as sell tickets in the weeks prior, and set-up and break down the festival!!! So, please share the news and the need with a friend. Your time is greatly appreciated!!

Key Volunteer Positions
In addition to Festival volunteers, Waterfront is looking to fill specific key volunteer positions below.
- Print Traffic Intern/Volunteer:
Maintain contact with programmers and filmmakers before, during and after the festival, track films and coordinate the delivery and return of prints to correct screening locations throughout the festival, and arrange shipment of films back to filmmakers after the festival.
- Box Office Manager(s):
Oversee ticket sales, provide customer support, and problem solve when needed.
- Concessions Manager(s):
Buy and/or stock all the concessions for Thursday-Sunday (snacks, soda pop, liquor, ice, etc.) and restock throughout.
- Retail Manager:
Coordinate merchandise order (tshirts, posters) - purchase, intake, and distribution to venues. Restock venues throughout.
- Hospitality Coordinator:
Plan and manage hospitality events, which take place during the Festival. This includes a daily networking mixer and evening party as well as a sponsorship lunch and the hospitality suite.
- Security Coordinator:
Coordinate and schedule security team for various events. Liaison with local law enforcement.
- Transportation Coordinator(s):
Coordinate the pick up and drop off of guests to and from airport and reschedule when unexpected changes in flight schedules. Coordinate shuttle service hours and schedule with local transportation system for transportation between venues.
- Production Assistants:
Assist Operations Directors with set up and tear down of Festival as well as daily and various event needs leading up to, through out, and wrap up of the Festival.
