OFFICIAL SELECTION
SXSW FILM FESTIVAL

Women in Trouble is a serpentine story that interweaves one day in the lives of ten women best explained by one of its stars, Elektra Luxx:

Women In Trouble
is a comedy about one day in the lives of ten different women in Los Angeles. These are smart, sexy, hopelessly clueless women from all walks of life: a flight attendant, a porn star, a psychiatrist, a massage therapist, a mother, a daughter, a bartender, a pair of call girls. These women -- confident and charming and drop-dead gorgeous in lingerie as they may be -- are beset by all sorts of problems which can pretty much be summed up in one word: Men.
Husbands. Lovers. Fathers. Rock Drummers.
But let's be clear -- Women In Trouble is not some indie chick flick that makes buffoons out of men in order to prove some shopworn point about women and sisterhood. In a sense, Women In Trouble is a chick flick that guys will like.
Why?
Well.
1. Did I mention the fact that all the women end up in lingerie and look amazing?
2. Did I mention it deals with life and death situations, mother-daughter dynamics, marital discontent and psychological problems? (Maybe that one isn't so hot, scratch that. Let me try again.
3. Did I mention a lot of it is about sex?
There we go. That's more like it. Let's keep it simple, then.
Here's what you need to know so far -- based on your gender:

Women -- the movie is a sometimes outrageous comedy about women you know that manages to be heartfelt and poignant.
Men -- the movie is a sometimes outrageous comedy about super sexy women that manages to give you insight into why women keep you around.
